VF Corp. said it was exploring strategic alternatives for its Licensed Sports Group (LSG) business, a division of VF’s Imagewear coalition. “As active portfolio managers, we constantly assess the composition of our company to ensure VF’s portfolio is aligned with our strategic objectives and positioned to maximize growth and return to our shareholders,” said Eric Wiseman, VF’s chairman and CEO. Delta Galil’s shares rose 9% to $26.80 in the OTC market, bringing its market value to roughly $679 million. “This transaction reflects our strategic efforts to grow Delta Galil’s branded business and expand our global footprint,” said Isaac Dabah, CEO of Delta Galil. “We are thrilled to be adding three renowned premium brands to our portfolio, as they further diversify our product offering and distribution channels, while adding significant strength to our structure. Salvage, Schiesser, KN Karen Neuberger, Nearly Nude, LittleMissMatched and FIX.
